The Hotel Laurel

At The Hotel Laurel at Seneca Lake, our design direction was influenced by the rich history and attractions of Watkins Glen. We paid homage to the racing scene, natural landmarks, and the abundance of wineries located on the lake. Additionally, we celebrated the legacy of the Franzese family, the original owners of the Glen Motor Inn. Our goal was to enhance the hotel's amenities while preserving its character and historical significance for our valued guests. In the guestrooms, we wanted to showcase the unique allure of Watkins Glen, so we developed three distinct room schemes: The Sommelier, The Newman, and The Laurel. Each scheme captures the essence of what makes Watkins Glen an attractive destination. Furthermore, the design of the public spaces draws inspiration from the diverse shades of green found in the breathtaking Watkins Glen State Park. Our approach ensures that guests at The Hotel Laurel at Seneca Lake can indulge in the area's history and attractions while enjoying refreshed amenities that maintain the hotel's charm.
